Appalachia Yoga & Art Retreat
August 23rd – 29th, 2025
Getting clarity on what you want out of life isn’t easy. Experience the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility in an atmosphere designed to inspire and nurture your journey, both on and off the mat.
When was the last time you enjoyed a day without a to-do list? Free yourself from expectations and discover the joy of stillness. Relax at the spa, read a book, or go for a nature walk. The day is yours.
Transformation starts when you step outside your comfort zone. Enjoy the safety and security of a curated adventure while you travel the world, explore new cultures, and make new friends.
Transportation to and from the retreat center, food, lodging, workshops, excursions – it’s all included in your investment. The only thing you’ll be responsible for is your flights and alcohol (unless we’re at a winery, that is, then drinks are on us).
This is more than a yoga retreat. We love to blend other disciplines, like art, hiking, journaling, and cultural experiences into your itinerary to make your adventure more meaningful. Every day offers something exciting and new.
Our retreats are LGBTQIA+ friendly, and we work hard to create an all-inclusive, safe space for everyone. From solo travelers, to couples, to families and friends, it’s our goal to make you feel right at home.
One of the most important parts of a yoga retreat is making time to slow down. That’s why we’ve chosen retreat centers that will help facilitate relaxation, stillness, and connection to nature. Hop in a sauna or jump in the ocean. The choice is yours.
When we say all-levels, we mean it. By teaching a unique blend of yoga and mobility with an emphasis on education and anatomy, we’re able to make every level of student – from teachers to newbies – feel safe, empowered, and challenged.
Yes, the yoga, adventures, workshops, and transformative nature of our retreats are all unforgettable, but YOU – the community – are the reason that people keep coming back for more. None of this would be possible without you.
Eight years ago I quit my job, sold everything I owned, and started traveling the world. I’ve lived in Costa Rica, the Cayman Islands, Chicago, and Spain, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that happiness isn’t found in a place – it’s found within.
And yet, I believe that travel (ahem – retreats, in particular!) can be an incredible catalyst for personal inquiry. When you go on retreat, you’re making a commitment to step away from daily life. In turn, you welcome silence, contemplation, and change.
This is why I lead retreats. There’s nothing I love more than helping people connect to the world and themselves through movement, meditation, and community.
I am an FRC® Mobility Specialist and have my 200-hour certifications in both Vinyasa Flow and Karuna Flow, as well as Reiki Levels I and II. More importantly, I’m passionate about making movement fun; my classes are a mashup of yoga, mobility, and even a little strength training.
