Written In Ritual: 5-Day
Writing & Yoga Retreat

with Author & Literary Agent Arizona Bell

For the writer who demands more.

In a world that’s becoming more artificial by the minute, doubling-down on our original creative intelligence has become an important act of rebellion. This retreat is designed to help you tune out the noise of algorithms and sync back into your own creative imagination. Through guided writing sessions, playful yoga classes, and intentional creativity rituals, we’ll approach writing in a way that allows us to slow down enough to hear the divine creator within. Whether you’re writing for self-discovery, crafting a legacy memoir, or working toward a book deal, these sessions will help you reclaim writing as a sacred ritual in your life.

You will receive...

Personal Manuscript Consultation

Before the retreat, participants can submit up to 1,500 words for Arizona’s personalized feedback. You’ll receive written notes and a short in-person chat during the retreat to help you take your work to the next level.

Guided Writing Sessions

Thought-provoking prompts and creative exercises designed to help you ignite your inner storyteller and get your story outta your brain and onto the page.

Daily Yoga & Meditation Sessions

Move your body and declutter your mind so you can write freely (and dare we say, easily?). Whether you’re an experienced yogi or a complete beginner, every session will offer an opportunity for curiosity and creativity.

Your Path to Publishing Workshop

A behind-the-scenes look at the modern publishing world, Arizona will demystify the various publishing paths and offer insider guidance on how to bring your ideas from inspiration to bookshelf—Q&A included!

Psychic Circle with Sarah Livesey

Sarah Livesey, an internationally acclaimed mystic, healer, and teacher, will be leading a psychic circle for us during the retreat. With a Diploma in Metaphysics and trained personally by Dr. Caroline Myss at the CMED Institute in Chicago, Sarah is renowned for her accurateness in reading the psyche. She was also featured on Love Island Australia.

EFT Tapping with Carys Andersson

Clear your fears, blocks, and limiting beliefs with a group EFT tapping session with Carys. She combines science-backed EFT tapping and powerful coaching to help you break patterns, reclaim your confidence and amplify your success.

Open Mic Night

Pour a glass, take a breath, and if the muse moves you, step up to the mic! This is your chance to share something you’ve written during the retreat—or simply sit back, sip that vino, and cheer others on.

Plenty of Time to Actually Write!

With endless cozy, gorgeous nooks to choose from, we have built in ample time for you to relax into the creative flow and do what you came to do.

Your Guides

Hi, I'm Arizona.

Author, Editor, Literary Agent

Arizona Bell is the author of Soul Magic: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Mystics (Macmillan) and literary agent at Rosecliff Literary. Her second book, The Griever’s Dictionary, is represented by Jessica Berg and currently on submission.

When she’s not crafting (and manically quarrelling with) her own manuscripts, Arizona moonlights as the founder and chief wordsmith of writegeist—a luxury ghostwriting agency for visionaries serious about success.

Hi, I'm Madison.

Founder, Yoga Instructor, Mobility Specialist

Eight years ago I quit my job, sold everything I owned, and started traveling the world. I’ve lived in Costa Rica, the Cayman Islands, Chicago, and Spain, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that happiness isn’t found in a place – it’s found within.

And yet, I believe that travel (ahem – retreats, in particular!) can be an incredible catalyst for personal inquiry. When you go on retreat, you’re making a commitment to step away from daily life. In turn, you welcome silence, contemplation, and change.

This is why I lead retreats. There’s nothing I love more than helping people connect to the world and themselves through movement, meditation, and community.

Madison didn't just lead a retreat for us, she created and curated something so special I am still processing the effects on my life and health. This was a week I'll remember all my life. [...] I am now planning to come back to not one but hopefully two of Madison's varied and fascinating retreats. I feel I've only scratched the surface of what she has to offer her clients.

I'll be saying it for years and years, but you crafted one of the most memorable weeks of our lives. I can't say it was what I expected, but I didn't know what to expect. Seriously grateful for all of it.

Kolby Dickens

Madison you did it again! You and Danny provided a very open, welcoming, fun, relaxing week in a beautiful location! Absolutely love your approach to self care, wellness, mindfulness and just slowing down and being in the moment. Thank you both for a fantastic week!
